Call the receptionist yourself.

This is a real, live phone conversation — you talk, it answers, out loud. Pick the trade below — eight of them. Same receptionist, different shop: the vocabulary, the questions, the emergencies and the safety rules follow the trade. The shop closed four hours ago — play the customer with a problem and watch the right-hand side.

If you're stuck, try this:
  • "My basement is flooding — a pipe burst behind the water heater."
  • Give it a made-up address when it asks. Watch what happens next.
  • Or try a slow drip instead, and see it book you a morning.
Dispatch board · live
Nothing here yet.
When the call gives up enough detail, the job writes itself onto this board — while you're still talking.

Emergency — escalating

  1. Job flagged as an emergency, address taken first.
  2. Dave's cell phone is ringing. Not a text he'll read later — ringing.
  3. A voice reads him the address and the callback number.
  4. He says he'll take it, and the caller goes straight through.

This is the difference between answering the phone and getting someone to the house. An answering service that offers a Tuesday slot to somebody whose ceiling is coming down has already lost them.

That would have been a voicemail.

Every one of those details would have been lost. Eighty-six percent of callers who hit a voicemail hang up without leaving one — so you would never have known this person called at all.

Owner setup — do this once

Paste the public key from the voice dashboard and this device will remember it. It's safe in a browser: it can start calls and nothing else. A customer never sees this box.

Send this to a contractor

One link. It opens on his phone and works straight away — he taps Call them and talks. No setup, no app, nothing to install.

Every call on this link is billed to you, so send it to people you are actually selling to — not a mailing list.
